Cyanosis- knuckles, palm of hand (by thumb- capillary refill in this area brisk but also blue!), occ on soles of feet/lips/nail beds- intermittent over 3 days, worse with cold temperatures (can literally watch skin change color)- also occurs in shower and at room temp. No pain- some blue coloration actually wipes off with alcohol on hands/feet only to return within 30-60 minutes and is able to be wiped off again. NO contact with anything blue/black/etc during this period.
Dizziness when SITTING, worsened with head movement and laughing.
CBC, Chem 6, Carbon Monoxide, all WNL. Vitals WNL, O2 sats 100%, no cardiac/pulmonary symptoms.
Symptoms present in two members of same household- 16yo female and 36 yo female, who has had symptoms for 36 hours now. Both females completed menstrual cycle with past two days, both took iron supplements during cycle. Males in household asymptomatic.
Thoughts/suggestions on where to go from here?
