My 21 year old son has the symptoms of Cushings disease. These are, swollen face, swollen hump on forehead and back of neck, acne, stretch marks on body, and rapid weight gain. These all appeared suddenly between ages 18 and 19. He has been seen by several Doctors, including two Endocrinologists, Allergist, Oncologist, and Facial Specialist. All say this looks like Cushings but Tests do not verify this diagnoses. He has had at least three 24 hour urine tests, saliva tests over three month period, sample given every 2 weeks, and another round of saliva tests with sample given every other month for a period of one year, all looking for evidence of high Cortisol levels. None of these tests ever showed signs of abnormal Cortisol production. Also had several body and head scans looking for tumors on pituitary and adrenals. All negative. Also had a Lymph node biopsied for possible Lymphoma which was negative. Condition remains and is untreated. HAS ANYONE OUT THERE HAD THIS PUZZLING PROBLEM:mad: CAN YOU HELP??Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
