I injured my elbow at work 2 years ago; first it was all black/swollen; I was out a month. Fine after that; last year I started getting pins/needles in my hand; then after a cortisone shot I had excruiating pain, numbness, tingling and lack of strength/movement in the arm; EMG didn't confirm CRPS; all tests pretty unremarkable; I was out of work 5 1/2 months. Had 3x therapy from June-October when I returned to work - I was at 80% strength; now, 5 months of working has brought me down to 20% strength; I've seen orthopedist, neurologist, hand specialist, acupuncturist; NO ONE can tell me what it is but I am STILL in pain, my hand gets puffy, can't close my fist, but the ring/pinky fingers are okay. From everything I've read it SOUNDS like Ulnar Nerve Dystrophy... I'm in a lot of pain, but because I sit at the computer, they think I'm okay - can barely type anymore.... It was originally in the elbow/forearm; it has now affected the wrist hand and fingers. If its not CRPS/RSD what is it? I've had 4 doctors tell me "I don't know what it is"Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
