It has been over a year now since I have been dealing with a horrible metal taste and red, raw throat in the upper part of my throat. The metal taste is the worst. I believe it is coming from the soft palate on the roof of my mouth. The back of my throat is angry, red, and raw.
I have been to the ENT, who referred me to the gastro for reflux disease, who did all kinds of tests, tubes up my nose overnight,etc... not reflux.
Now the gastro is sending me back to the ENT.
If anyone has a clue, I'd be grateful.
