The pain would off and on recur at the same spot in roughly 6 months interval and be treated with the drug till 2006. Pain frequency increased to nearly 2-3 months and Ciplox TZ was no longer effective. Other drugs were used for management. April 2008 pain frequency was just 10 days with antibiotics being ineffective later part of April 08.
In May 2008 colonoscopy was done. Biopsy was normal except indicating heavy inflammation of GI surface with multiple diverticulae was evident in the colonoscopy. Steroids Budez CR 3 Caps a day with Pentasa 500 6 caps a day were prescribed along with supplements of calcium and vitamins.
