If mommy cat will go back to being helpful, instead of spamming everyone she can, I'll lay off.

Here's what I've been writing. If you agree, let her know.

Anna

mommy cat,

You respond to more than 90 percent of the posts, like you have the answer for everyone, showing that amongst your other troubles, suffering from narcissistic personality disorder.

Your self-written comments (not the ones that you are copying and pasting) are repetitive, mixed up, unclear, and pushy. This is called mania. You keep saying you are getting checked for ME but you haven't said if you have it.

Your discussion of cover-ups show that you have lapsed into paranoia.

You have decided that your cause is more important than everyone elses needs, even to the point of believing that everyone without a diagnosis has ME. Considering that you claim a medical background, this shows a lack of connection with reality.

I now dub thee, "crazy cat" instead of mommy cat.

Get some psychiatric attention while you are working on getting a diagnosis.

Are narcissism, mania, paranoia, and other psychiatric diagnoses part of ME? If not, you have no excuse.

Anna

I have almost every symptom there. I noticed if I'm sedentary for the day, I feel ALMOST okay. If I were to go grocery shopping all my symptoms pop up real bad. Any amount of physical exertion causes a "flare up" to the point where I feel like I'm dying, hence the 14 ER visits over the years. The one thing I noticed is, I ALWAYS have a UTI (didn't remember reading this on hummingbird). I do feel my symptoms subside on antibiotics about 30%. It's strange, I know. The pain in my joints I can handle (due to paind meds), but it's the nuerological ones I cannot. I get this INTENSE intercranial pressure that makes me feel like my head is going to explode, it's very very scary.

  • Mommy Cat, I certainly understand you are on a mission to educate everyone about ME...but I have to agree with Anna Cat in some examples where you are posting to sites that have nothing to do with any symptoms of ME...and I think that can be irritating to others reading the post...and I think this may ultimately hurt your case on some level. I am in danger too, as I often recommend NAET treatments for people I feel would benefit from this. I know I piss some people off too, and try to discern which ones would benefit the most. I don't answer ALL posts this way. I feel ultimately that we cannot help people who aren't willing to take our advice, and we should move on from that. I suggest you continue your crusade, but just don't be surprised if you receive less than inspiring answers, and let go of the posts that aren't receptive to your comments. Anna,Ultimately I feel we should also let go of this "cat fight". Best wishesDOM

  • Hey-I am going to piss people off because I always agree with Acuann- I don't think calling anyone "Crazy" is helpful or healing for anyone, at any level. If Anna Cat is really sick but she has energy to spew some criticism, she may want to rethink what to do with all that energy- as she encourages Mommy Cat to rethink her strategy.People also nag me about NAET and the Water cure- the truth is, if you don't want to be sick, you'll be open- if you are not open then you might be very comfortable with your condition. No one is forcing anyone to try NAET, Water, ME, nothing- We are just excited about a helpful finding. wWhy do people get so ticked off? - I guess hostility is a symptom.

    8 Surprising Facts About Cholesterol

Did you know that one in six US adults has high cholesterol?

  • Fruity...Just because you give people NAET/water advice and I give them ME information(ONLY WHEN I SEE SYMPTOMS OF ME) then we are spamming and our information, knowledge and insight are discredited...It makes no sense If people are here for answers...why would it be so impossible for several of us to have the same thing?...especially when so many of us correlate with symptoms? Guess I was a bit aggressive with some...didn't mean to be. I do it out of concern and compassion. I'm a nurse. I am, live and do concern and compassion...I know no other way...I'm not narcissitic, paranoid or crazy just a sick little girl who is trying to help others...The road to ***l is paved with good intentions. • Mommy cat - what I recommend is making a new thread, where the first post is one complete essay on M.E. with all your recent links, and where you don't keep adding to it every day. Then in new threads by others add one (one) short "It could be M.E. - please see.." and the (correct, tested) link to that M.E. tutorial thread. Those who are destined to, will then follow your links. Fancy footwork is needed. Don't give people with M.E. a bad name. Leave the carpet bombing to Bush ... think about it, email me if you need a proof reader.;)

  • Some good points by all here. Why are so many ME symptoms seen ? Because ME is in all probability mostly Lyme. Lyme is the "second great imitator", which means it can have many different types of symptoms, thus appearing to be many different types and kinds of disease when ultimately is often Lyme. Lyme is the second great because Syphillis is the "first great imitator."Syphillis can and does have many different types of symptoms in different people. It was often misdiagnosed or not diagnosed correctly (as Lyme is now) because its wide range of symptoms appear as many other different types of diseases. And IME, once you get an official "label" or diagnosis, many docs stop really looking for what is really going on. That's a shame.

  • Ralph...I'm still trying to learn the Lyme thingME/CFS...so many viruses "stealth" and such If everyone got tested for Lyme...probably would be positive testME/CFS is only clinical...there is no test, persay it's all so confusing...perhaps if we all learn from each other, what each of us knows, the pieces of the puzzle will all fit together? It's worth a shot at this point...what have we got to lose? we are all here for the same reason, right? Keep giving the Lyme info...it is valuable to many...mommy cat

  • both of you are correct...first I will create new thread..then I will rest and listen I'm very good at compromising:D great advice...again...mommy catHi mommy cat,I know Anna was pretty harsh, but I can understand some of her points. You've accused me of being in a state of denial (in a sarcastic way, at that), and at times your responses to me felt like you were bullying me as a way of convincing me that I should see things your way. We have different opinions. Also, there have been times when various thread starters have asked you to stop posting, but you keep posting there, and sometimes you have even posted several times after being asked to stop. I guess I could see how that could be considered a symptom of mania, like Anna said.Like I tell my kids: help is only helpful if it is found to be helpful by the person you give it to. Keep up the good work when it is good, mommy cat. We can all see that there are people here that think your help is fantastic. I am happy for you and them. But please realize that any time you continue to post on a thread after being asked not to, that really is spam. Spam is posting to someone who has made it clear they don't want you to anymore. It really doesn't have to be about the content. You are obviously very ill, and on a mission to get people together to help spread the word about ME. And that is fine. Just try to accept those who are interested, leave people alone who aren't likely ME sufferers, don't keep expending all your energy on turning this site into your own personal place to start a movement, and then maybe you won't generate so much antagonism. As you, yourself have pointed out, you are truly sick, and you like to help people. Use your energy for your self, and for those who obviously want it. Save yourself the grief of arguing with people who don't want your help.I wish you well,Shula
