Could this be Lyme Disease?

About 6 years ago I had a bullseye rash on my arm. The doctor gave me anitbiotics and I basically forgot about the whole situation. In the years since I've had several Lymph Nodes swell and enlarge around my neck and ears. My right shoulder tingles and feels very uncomfortable most of the day (that's went on for 3 years). In the past few days my right side has had a dull pain. The doctors laugh at me when I go in for my Lymph nodes and say I'm overreacting. Should I get tested for Lyme disease?

  • A bull's eye rash is definitely a symptom of Lyme Disease. I think you should really consider being tested. MzTiz_

  • Get tested. But not from your doc or local hospital.Search on the net for the Bowen Lab. Their testing is much more accurate than regular hospitals, IME. I do have some patients with Lyme and unfortunately many docs and hospitals think they know all and can find anything. Not true. If you really want to know, try what I suggested above. Access www.lymenet.com for docs in your area.
