I have been to numerous doctors over the last few years and each one comes up with a different diagnosis. They vary from rheumatoid arthritis to gout. My symptoms are: on and off headaches; on and off fevers; swollen and painful center knuckles on both hands which are also purple-ish in color; swelling and pain in both knees, which seems to alternate back and forth between knees. I also tested positive for Candida Albicans which means there is an acute amount of yeast in my body. I have been told that there is a 4cm cyst behind my left knee but typically nothing is done about that. My recent blood work showed 1 reactive band for lyme disease, but you need 2 out of 3 bands to be diagnosed. I have hepatitis C and was told that this can generate a rheumatoid factor which appears in blood tests even if you don't have rheumatoid arthritis - which I don't. I am taking prescribed pain killers and anti inflammatories and am in constant pain. Has anyone out there ever heard of this? I'd appreciate your help. Thanks.
