Hey all. Think I could get some what-to-do on this?
I'm not sick, but I am coughing a lot during the day (not at night). This started happening about 3 days ago. I'm not running a fever, don't have a headache, don't have a running nose, not sneezing a lot, and don't have a high temperature; just coughing a lot. I am coughing up greenish phlegm, which I read is almost always a sign of infection. I read up on Bronchitis, Pneumonia, and Tuberculosis, but none of the symptoms seem to fit me and I don't want to exaggerate my symptom by seeing a doctor.
Previously, my dad had a cough which lasted for about 3 weeks, I don't know if I have the same cough that he had. He managed to get over it, but about 1 week later I started coughing and have been since then. It sounds like Tuberculosis to me at first, but I'm not coughing blood or have chest pains. Think someone could just give me some helpful info on how to deal with it and what it is? I can answer any more questions y'all throw at me. :)
