I dont know what I have, i was sick a week ago with a cold and i felt like i was a little weak, i got some rest and was good for new years, now after i think everything is going away, i lost my voice its been 2 days and whenever i lay down in bed i cough acouple of times then sleep for like 4 hours, wake up coughing, about 2 times in the night. what do you people think could be wrong? should i just wait it out or pay 500 dollars to see a doctor?

  • Have you recently changed the bed clothes?are you overweight? Do you cough a bit after eating spicy foods or chocolates?Do you eat a short time before bed?Common causes of coughing at night can be something as simple as having a down comforter and becoming sensitized to it or having acid reflux disease.Good Luck
