I develop an allergic reaction to just about every medicine that I'm exposed to. Some cause rash while others cause anaphylaxis. If the medicine is put in my blood stream directly I immediately go into anaphylaxis. Even the medicines used to stop the allergic reactions i.e. H-2 inhibitors. None of the many doctors I've seen know why.

  • Have you been tested for Systemic Mastocytosis. This condition is rare (so not many doctors know of this) but often causes rashes and anaphylaxis and can make one very sensitive to all kinds of things. Anyone who gets incidents of anaphylaxis should be tested for it.

But it sure does cover a lot of the symptoms that I have. Thank you for the suggestion.

  • Thank you I've contacted my dermatologist to talk to her about testing. Hope this holds an answer.

  • Look up "hygiene hypothesis allergies" on Google. They are curing this with helminthic therapy.
