I am a 20 year old female with constant stomache pain-sometimes overall pain , sometimes stabbing pain.I also feel very fatigued- almost like flu symptoms.
It started about 2 years ago. I have had two upper endoscopies with biopsies, a colonoscopy, and dozens of blood tests from three different doctors. Additionally, I have suffered from depression for 5 years and have taken many different medications for this.
Because the tests have not resulted in any clear diagnosis, the doctors I have seen have directed their attention to my depression.
My depression started 3 years before the stomach pain and was under control until the stomache pain began. I have seen counselors and feel that the constant pain I am in with my stomache is adding to my depression and not the caused by the depression. This pain and frustration has started to make work almost impossible. Does anyone have any thoughts or possible explanations for this pain?
