My life is a nightmare it's stretched out for a few years now, one thing after another, The number of problems I have had is endless. For starters I have Hashimotos Antibodies, Thyroid Disease, suffering Severe Fatigue, Constipation, Migraines, Neck Pain around lymph nodes, and I have to eat Protein constantly to stay awake and stop myself from getting headaches and passing out. The hypoglycemia is becoming worse and less predictable every day therefore harder to control. I have been tested from TYPE 2 Diabetes, but I do not have it. Help> Also, I had a lot of cardiac problems after starting synthroid, but they stopped after 16 months. Any idea what is going on?

Please look into NAET (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) and see if it helps. NAET can be very helpful for autoimmune dysfunction which it sounds like you certainly have. What meds are you currently taking? Are you on birth control? Do you smoke or drink? How old are you and are you female?DOM

  • Have you read about Celiac Disease? It is closely linked to Hashimoto's. Good Luck!

  • Sounds familiar. I could have written your statement word for word a couple months ago. Are your migraines linked to hypoglycemic episodes? Mine definitely are- at least its one trigger. I suspect since the thyroid hormones actually control glycolysis upstream, that much of the problem is related to insufficient/badly timed thyroid hormones. Synthroid only replaces one of the many hormones the master gland secretes. Have u tried armours? Do u have a high enough dosage? Also my migraines are controlled fairly well now ( with side effects) with 100 mg topamax a day. I also take hydroxychloroquine 200 mg a day. Has your doctor checked your vitamin levels? I was low in b and d and those supplements helped overnight. Good luck; let me know how it goes!

  • Migraines and fatigue in a person with thyroid antibodies could possibly be Hashimoto's Encephalopathy. Have you been to a neurologist yet? Most have not heard of HE yet, but if you go to someone younger or at a teaching hospital, you might find someone who could assess you for it. It's treated with steroids.I'm not sure about the hypoglycemic episodes, but HE can cause ataxia as well as decreased blood perfusion in the brain and coma. Not sure if this applies to you, though.Best Wishes

  • I had all of the same symptoms and more. It was Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) which is a form of dysautonomia. May have been triggered by Lymes. Constipation severe - have tried everything. I think the constipation is related to the reactive hypoglycemia.

  • i don't know what is going on, but i am going through the same exact thing! whatever it is, more than one person is experiencing identical symptoms, so it has to be something concrete. keep on keepin' on! and hey, at least you know one other person in the world understands how crappy you feel!
