I am 25 years old and constantly hot!!! My face feels tight and is red. I am about 25 lbs overweight. Other symptoms include nausea, dizziness, pounding heart, shaky, and very emotional. This seems to happen on a daily basis now. My thyroid has been tested and is normal. When the symptoms happen my blood pressure is usually elevated.. sometimes extremely to the point of 170s/100. Please help!

  • I am also 25 and I was constantly hot for years. However, in May of last year I started taking birth control pills for the first time and I suddenly stopped feeling hot all the time. I havn't discussed this with my doctor but I assumed that I had some kind of hormone inbalance and that the birth control pills returned my hormones to normal levels. It is wonderful to not feel hot all the time. I used to set the air conditioner on 65 and my roomates would be freezing but i still was hot. I hope this helps :)
