I have been having severe neck pain on the back left side with excruciating headaches. The front of my throat is tender to touch and even barely touching it feels like I'm being strangled. I also feel like there is a constant lump in my throat. The pain in my neck runs from the bottom of my scalp all the way to my shoulder blades. It feels tight, like I can't move my neck and yet also like it is throbbing. The pain in my head is sharp and generally near the back. There is a weird pressure in the back of my head, too, like my head is going to implode. I have bouts of confusion and dizziness and I can't concentrate. I sometimes forget what I am doing and slur my words. Sometimes my left eye is blurry or twitchy.
A bit about me: I am 25, I have had no head or neck injuries. I have had an MRI of my brain and it was normal except for some possible swelling in my right temporal lobe.
