Constant Joint Pain and inflammation

It started 8 years ago when I had inflammation in my knee. Then the pain started around my sternum. My doctor said there is swelling between my sternum and intercostals. I have swelling, pain, and weakness in almost all of my joints (hands, wrists, hips, back, knees, neck, ankles, and feet). I've been told I have high ANA levels but the doctors just told me they don't know what's wrong and gave me anti-inflammatories to take. I already have carpel tunnel and the weakness is similar to arthritis. The rheumatologist did several tests and said i was negative for arthritis, lupus, and several other common auto immune diseases. I'm only 20 and feel like there is really something wrong with me because I shouldn't have this pain. The weakness is worst when I am tired and when it is either really hot or really cold outside. Thanks for the help.

  • Have you been tested for lyme disease? Or maybe still's disease? Ask your doctor to try biologics like Enbrel that block TNF.
