My 5 year old son has had a constant itching penis for over a month. There are no signs of redness, swelling or rash present on the skin and I have tried Lotrimen, Tinactin, Monistat and Benedryl. I have rewashed his underwear in hot water with no soap and stopped using drier sheets. He was seen by his pediatrician who could not see any signs on the skin and tested his urine which was normal. She decided to test him for Strep and he was positive(he had no other symptoms) so she put him on zythromax and a hydrocortizone cream for topical as well as taking Zyrtec for one week to help the itching. Unfortunatley nothing has helped the itching. He gets so frustrated and bothered by the itch that he almost cries asking if this will ever go away. Any suggestions on what to do next?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
