:confused:Hello I'm new to this board . I am in need of some help!!! Let me run down my story real quick. My symptoms started the first week of Feb 2008, I was feeling off like I was dizzy, not dizzy as in spinning but my equilibrium was off along with that I had pressure on the right side of head at the temple, felt like someone was rolling there fingers under my skin and pushing on my temple at the same time. I kinda blew it off thinking maybe it's the xanax I'm on for anxiety. I stopped taking the xanax for about 2 to 2 and half weeks to see if any change. There wasn't. So went to docs and he got me tested for many things. Here's a list
ENG-ENT DOC EAR TEST=PASSED ALL FINE
MRI BRAIN W'CONTRAST=PASSED CLEAR
MRI CERVICAL SPINE= ARTHRITIS
BLOODWORK FOR EVERYTHING =ALL GOOD
HAD ECHO ON HEART LAST SUMMER=GOOD
EEG LAST SUMMER=GOOD
EMG A MONTH AGO(NERVE TEST ON LOWER BODY) = GOOD BUT FOUND AN ABNORMALITY?
YESTERDAY HAD ANOTHER ENG WITH TOP DOC IN PHILADELPHIA
HE SAYS MY EARS ARE GREAT.
Ok so ENT top Doc says he thinks it's in my brain and that in turn my neurons are no longer connecting and that I have to reteach my body to feel normal again???? I said how the ***l does your brain just stop working and why would it do that, he said well it does. So next stop is to Vestibular therapy where they can help.? I know this post is long Sorry. I feel alone and worried no one is finding anything wrong. Could this Ent doc be right? Please help if anyone knows or has heard of this. Thank you and sorry for long post. Holly
