My mother is 62 years old, in good health apart from Ostreoporosis, and high cholersterol.
I noticed the other day that she is using the strainer, poring the pasta on without a container underneath on to the kitchen counter withou realizing she is doing that. When I asked her what she is doing she said 'It will be ok'- and did not realize she was about to pore the water on the counter. Once when she did- it took her like a minute to realize what she was doing.

Same night she was trying to put the food away, but putting the food in the container top instead of the container.

It was almost like she is doing this, and not aware of what she is doing. She is home alone during the week, and I am worried that she will do something to hurt herself without realizing that.

Could you please help... What should I do
Thank you
