A little over 2 years ago I had my gallbladder removed. Since then I still feel the same pain on the upper right side under my ribs. On March 20th I went into the ER with same pain, chest pain, rapid breathing, and severe stomach pain and bloating. I know the bloating is not from gas because when u have gas if u burp or ***t u feel better. I did not. This 1st time they did nothing but an EKG and blood work. Everything was normal. I walked out with a diagnosis of anxiety disorder which really made me mad because I could have told him I was having a panic attack but the reason was I was in so much pain. So the next day I followed up with my doc. He was very concerned and told me to go back to the ER and have a CT Scan done. From what he was saying he thought maybe I had appendicitis. So I went back to the ER. I had some more blood work done and a CT Scan that showed nothing but a very small cyst on my ovaries. I walked away even more confused then before. Since then I have been trying very hard to be normal but the pain is sometimes so bad. I still have the severe bloating and I don't know what to do next. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do or what it could be.

Can anyone give me some advice on what to do or what it could be.One of three things:Diverticulitus(sp)-very painful and in the same regionOvarian cyst- these can be painful, but don't cause "bloating" that I am aware ofGluten sensitivity-If I had to place a guess this would be it. This issue is missed often, and my wife has been down your exact road. Removed gall bladder, it was diseased, but still had runny poops, pain, bloating ets. Try a gluten free diet for 2 weeks, be forewarned this is NOT easy to do. You will have to make your own bread. I recommend Pamela's gluten free bread mix(can order from Amazon for a decent price-her mix for pancakes is so good I don't even notice the difference between it and Bisquick).Second, you will want to keep a food diary, one of the other things that can cause this issue is artificial sweeteners. If it is artificial, then your body doesn't do well with it. I avoid anything artificial. I.E. no diet coke. If you want a coke, then drink the real thing and cut back on 100 calories someplace else. Be aware that almost ALL gum has artificial sweetener in it. This also bothers my wife, but it tends to be more gas causing. Finally, you could have a gas issue, go get some gas ex and try that as well.(that is my issue)
