hi, i was very sick for about a year, i threw up almost every other day and was nauseous(sp?) all day every day until around sunset. I went to multiple doctors and none could find out what was wrong with me. I am still photosensitive and i have insomnia, and i still get nausous some mornings. I also have no appetite to speak of, and only eat when i force myself to.

Recently i have started having seizures, nothing life threatening, but enough to worry me. my hands shake constantly. i know that i am not epileptic, and i cannot figure out what's causing this. i put my symptoms in the symptom checker thing and it said that i was on drugs, literally. lol i think i would know if that was what's causing this.

can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

  • WOW!! A friend of mine used symptom checkers and they told her the same thing!! That she was on drugs....and she wasn't.You should look into information on CFS/ME. Your symptoms are included in the list. There is information I found helpful at www.ahummingbirdsguide.com in which I am no part of. I just tell others that I found the information useful...and so did my doctor.By the way, my friend has CFS too.We both have gone for NAET/Bioset therapy and we are well on the road to recovery. You can google these practicioners locally in your area...Best of luck!!...mommy cat

  • My sister also has problems with frequent vomiting. She's been diagnosed with gastroparesis, where the stomach doesn't move food along properly, and it's been suggested that she might also have gastric migraines. Migraine meds and alternative therapies have been somewhat helpful. Through trying food elimination, she's discovered that dairy, tomato sauce, mango, and apples seem to aggravate the vomiting, and avoiding those foods has helped her.

  • My sister had frequent vomiting with some of your symptoms and was diagnoses with CVS (cyclic vomiting syndrome). A lot of docs aren't familiar with this and don't think of it although it is becoming more common. With all the vomiting she had a lot of secondary problems that seemed like other symptoms but were in fact a result of vomiting and improper intake (electrolyte and other imbalances). Good luck to you!
