Symptoms: Hair loss, fatigue, skin problems, sensitive to light, skin hurts and itches in sun, feet turn blue in cold, hands and feet swell, lower back pain, fever-comes and goes-sometimes high, sweats, intolerant to heat, period problems, extreme pain in joints, chest pains, overall muscle and joint stiffness, a lot of pain in the muscle from knee to hip, weight gain (not alot, about 12pds), sense of smell enhaced-happened over two day period, taste changed-over two day period-both taste and smell changes mostly stuck with me, scalp itchy, itchy breasts, problems thinking, dizzy, clumbsy and probebly more by the time someone reads this.
My doctor has tested me for all the basics and then lost my file-had her assistants assistant read me results that sounded like she really had no idea, so I don't know what to do. It has been weeks and still no one will call me back about a referal to a specialist. I have a son and am the only one to care for him. I feel as though I will die before I get in to see someone else. I can barely work now. Please help.

  • You don't mention if this all happened at once, recently, or if the symptom list has grown over time. Could you have the flu? Has your son been sick?? If he's in school, is there something going around at school, he may have brought home to you.? Could you have food allergies? Please go to the ER. Find another dr, too.You have too much There are many possibilities and combinations of things that could be going on. A fever is a sign of an infection some place. A sinus infection could be causeing the change in taste and smell , dizziness, the fevers too. Thyroid problems could be doing the hair loss, fatigue, skin problems, weight gain, brain fog, temperature changes and more. The feet being cold and turning blue could be a circularitory problem. Skin problems , are they rashes??? Everything you mention, lumped together{ esp all the pain & Joint problems} are symptoms of Lyme disease and other tick infections. Misquitos and flies carry the bacteria too. Some people don't get the bulls eye rash and don't know they have been bitten. lymenet.org is a good site, if you think it amy be Lyme .....The only way to know anything for sure is through the drs and testing. Get checked out. Hope you feel better soon.
