Hope someone out there can help me. I have been on a waiting list to see a gynecologist and my family dr can't get me in to see one until April 09 (wonderful Canadian health care system) anyway back in june developed night sweats that we occuring 3-4 times per week. I am 35 so I thought perhaps was starting peri-menopause, dr checked hormone levels, and blood everything came back ok.....night sweats continued and dr send me for a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound. That ultrasound in july showed an ovarian cyst. Dr sent me for a followup ultrasound 4 weeks later in august during some very sever pain and found that in addition to the first cyst, 3 more had grown in just that short time...one growing bigger that the first, anyway 3 were rupturing, (that's what caused all my pain), had another ultrasound in september and showed that the three other cysts were gone but the remaining one was 3.8 cm and was septated and filled with solid and liquid parts...the cyst is causing persitent pain daily and is now pushing on my intestines and bladder causing me to need to go to the bathroom alot. Also is causing my stomach to feel full more quickly. My doctor has also ran
CA-125 test and blood tests. haven't got the latest results. I have had cysts before and had surgery to remove one when I was 14, and lost my ovary in the process. so I am concerned about losing my second ovary....which I have read can happen i. Has anyone else out there had same problems and if you have what was the outcome
