I am a 67 year old male, not overweight, non-smoker/moderate drinker, generally fit and healthy except for BPH (for which I take Tamulosin) and BPV. I have IRS and think I might be celiac. Recently I have started to experience cold sweating - my skin feeling cold and clammy. My doc says I have a strong slow heart and rules out hodgkinsons, etc. Any suggestions as to the cause would be welcomed. Thanks.

  • First of all, do you mean IBS instead of IRS? And did your doc rule out Hodgkin's lymphoma or Parkinson's disease? What other medications are you currently taking? How much coffee do you drink daily? How much water? Is your sweating spontaneous or after exertion? Do you have shortness of breath or any upper respiratory problems? How frequent is your urination? • Thanks for your reply. My GP has ruled out Hodgkin's or anything serious and the symptoms have gone. I'll certainly return here if they reappear. Thanks again for your concern.
