I am 29 years old and was diagnosed with cocci about 4 months ago. My symptoms started with a cold, bronchitus and then turned into pnemonia. I had a fever for 5 weeks, weight loss, cold sweats and severe joint aches. I am waiting to see a speacialist to make sure the fungus has not spread. The infection did leave a cavity in my lung. I do have diabetes. I would love to find out more info from anybody who is also suffering from this disease. Brerivas@sbcglobal.net

  • That does not sound like it would be fun at all. I know my wife has had a lot of respiratory trouble. She is also 29, and it all started when we got cats. She developed bad allergies and asthma. We have been cat free for 4 yeas, but she still has the asthma and now has all kinds of lung problems. It is like you they all started from another infection then your body gets run down and you develop new problems. The best of luck to you, and you are doing the correct thing by getting into a specialist. In our experience that is the best thing you can do.
