For 3 years now I have had chronic pain in my upper right rib quadrant. My doc says it's musculoskeletal however, I'm not so sure. My pain is so severe I am taking 15mg of morphine 4 times a day. I have a very mild case of Lupus.I also have Fibromyalgia but it also is mild as compared to worst case scenarios. This rib pain presented itself and sent me to a doctor. Therein I found out I had Hep C. I underwent treatment and am officially cured however, the pain was found to be a separate issue. I am seeing an Osteopath but it's not working after almost 2 years of treatment. I also have stenosis of the neck and associated disc degeneration. My liver is NOT involved. I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis but again it is a mild case. Xrays show nothing as of last year. Sonogram shows nothing as of this year so I'm completely dumbfounded. I am an avid watcher of Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery's Fit and Health channel and it got me thinking that this could be a disease CAUSING my muscloskeletal discomfort?
I am not living life to much of any potential as of the last 3 years and I would be so greatfull for some insight as to what this might be or at least where else to do research.
Thank you so much for your time and efforts on my behalf.
