For a couple years I've had pain just above my anus. It kinda feels like an anal fissure but it's not. My colorectal surgeon says there's no sign of infection or anything else wrong. I've had an anuscopy so there's nothing visibly wrong.

Tonight I had some clear sticky discharge, and I didn't sleep well last night so I was wondering if that had something to do with it.

I have a healthy balanced diet and I take Metamucil. My bowel movements are regular.

  • Have you been checked for a pilonidal cyst. I know quite a few people that have had them and that is the exact symptoms that they had. Your GP can diagnose it.
