Chronic Shin Pain

Hi all. I'm new to the forums and I've been having trouble with my legs for some time now. Since I was seven, I've had awful pain in my shins. It comes and goes, but it's at least three times a week, in both legs but not always at the same time, and it's more of a dull ache. It's really getting hard for me to walk. It's been twelve years since I first had this pain, and no one can seem to tell me what it is. My doctor fisrt diagnosed me with growing pains and shin splints, both of which were wrong, and then I went to a specialist and he told me he had no idea what it could be. He said it was isiopathic and there was nothing he could do. It's been a while since I went to another doctor for it, and it's been getting progressivly worse, almost unbearable lately. I was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms or could tell me what I might have. Thanks for your time. :D

  • Wear flat shoes for awhile. I had shin splints when I would vary my heel height.
