chronic nausea

i am so sick of feeling nauseous all the time. especially whenever i have a performance later on (i'm a stage person), i get very extremely nervous. this is not due to psychology as i am a very confident person. the nervousness goes all the way until i throw up, have cold sweats, feel extremely nauseous and lose all my appetite. i even get a mild temperature, and i know for sure this is not normal at all.

i asked a doctor about it, and he told me to get a blood test done because he suspected thyroid poisoning. but i have yet to get it because the nearest hospital is a journey away from my town and i'm tied down with a hectic schedule. just wanted to know what else could be the cause before i actually go for the test.

another thing--i feel nauseous too whenever i drink tea or coffee with creamer (milk). i have no intolerance to lactose (i can drink an entire carton of milk with no glitch at all) and i can drink (oddly) tea without milk and not feel nausea. i dunno whether it could be intolerance to caffeine or not...

i can't even laugh too violently--i'll gag. to be honest, my stomach is really too sensitive for me to bear...it gets irritating.

do help!! i can't keep throwing up all the time...and for your info i am NOT pregnant

  • I'd say its IBS, when ever I get nervous my stomach is super sensitive... Even when I'm not nervous it's like my body is still in the stress response..
