  • This has been happening ever since I finished walking on a treadmill one day. After this I started having multiple symptoms such as feet tingling, arms and hands tingling which went on to aches and numbing. Now I have chronic pain in my hips and muscles and have to take Tramedol three times a day. On top of that I have to take Zolpidem for sleep. My entire quality of life is being affected. I have been through a gaggle of Doctors, Neurologists, and Bone Doctors, but all my tests come out negative. My primary doctor said I had a bit of arthritis, but that it wasn't enough to cause any uncomfortable feelings. Well, it's been about 5 years since the tests and i just seem to be getting worse with adding exhaustion to the mix. If anyone has any ideas, I am open to everything and anything. I am a very out going person and I feel like I am drowning in my own body. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Thank you! My arms continue to go numb - sometimes even during the day while I am just sitting or watching TV or whatever. During the night, I have had episodes where they go completely dead and I cannot lift them! Strength is diminishing slowly but continually. Sometimes at night, they go numb and hurt so badly that they wake me up. It doesn't matter if I am on my back or sides or stomach. Doctors all just perscribe more pain pills and send me on my way! Thank you for responding!

  • Arms go numb all during day. Sometimes while sitting, working, or relaxing. While I'm on the phone comes to mind. The tingling starts whenever I am using my arms or at night. Sometimes going completely numb at night, I am unable to even move them. Thanks for your response!

  • When the arm goes numb, it's the entire arm and hand. If my fingers go numb, seems like fingers 3,4,5 that tingle a lot and numb. (thumb being finger #1). Both hands are often affected. During the day, it can be either hand or fingers.

  • Hawaii. The only solution is being in Hawaii. No other tropical area or medication works. It is temporary but at least it is a relief. I spent two months there and lost nearly seventy percent of my pain. I kid you not since I came back to Nevada it is worse than ever...or maybe it is because I had a reprieve from pain. This has been happening ever since I finished walking on a treadmill one day about ten years ago.
