I am 24 and like many kids, I used to get ear infections all the time. About 2 and a half years ago, I began getting very painful ear infections. Occasionally antibiotics would get rid of the infection, but with in a week, it was back. Eventually my doctor gave up. I have since seen two different ENTs (Ear, nose and throat specialists). Both of them told me they didn't know what was causing the infections to reoccur. According to them, my ear drum moves fine and my hearing is fine. I have also been checked for TMJ, and don't have it. My last ENT sent me to a neurologist. I have had one visit with the neurologist, and now it seems he is brushing me off as well. He said he doesn't do CT scans or MRIs on the first visit. Instead he sent me to a physical therapist to do work with my neck. This was also because I get daily headaches and have for several years. I am at a total loss. I have had 2, 3, 4, 5 and more "second opinions" and no one seems to have a clue what is causing all of this. It makes me even more mad that none of my physicians seem to even care! Any ideas?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
