My 16 mo old daughter has been sick on and off since she was 9mo after she had a bad rotavirus infection. Since then she has had 10 respiratory viral infections of which she had to be put on steroids each time, herpangina twice, erythema multiforme. Now, she has been running a fever of 100.6-101 for the past three weeks. In those three weeks, she has had a cold and herpangina as well. If she goes outside to play longer than 5 mintues, she runs a fever. Her doctor has said that all her blood tests are normal and she tested negative for Mono and EBV. Does anyone know what is going on with her??? She catches anything and everything she comes into contact with. Her half brother and sisters cannot be around her when they get a stomach bug or she'll end up in the hospital is what they told us. I have no idea of what could be causing the repeated viral infections nor the constant fever the past three weeks (which seem to come about 4-530pm every night)
Any help would be appreciated.
