I am from the UK and cannot get my doctor to look into my symptoms as i used to suffer from depression. He tells me just not to focus on them. I have spent the past year researching and am 99% certain i am sufferring from CFS/ME. I am so frustrated at not being believed i dont know what to do. It is now upsetting me. Any advice would be gratefully received. I dont know if i can take transferring to a new GP only not to be believed again!!

If anyone has any advice for me could they please email me on sarah.galloway@bsmht.nhs.uk Thank you

  • Dear Sarah...I am a 38 yo nurse from USA...I have been sick many years I just found a doctor who listened to me for the first time he is doind immune bloodwork to determine if I have ME In our country it is only called CFS...our gov't took ME off our diagnostic codes list..we are still trying to figure out why Please visit www.ahummingbirdsguide.com also www.ncf-net.org There are hundreds, if not thousands on this site alone having symptoms of ME There was an outbreak in the 80's when I was in high school 20 yrs later, family and friends from my school all have several ME symptoms all of our mothers have fibromyalgia If your doctor doesn't listen...fire them and go to one that does don't stop until you get someone to listen...that's what I did and it's paid off for me God Bless You.......mommy cat
