My husband has been exhibiting some disconcerting (to me, anyway) behavior. Within the past week, when he sits down in his recliner, he falls asleep almost immediately, and sleeps for hours at a time. And then he's still able to sleep at night.
Also, sometimes prior to falling asleep, he acts almost as though he's been drugged or drank a 12 pack or so of beer. He is unable to participate in a conversation beyond answering yes or no questions, and has poor muscle control.
He has type 2 diabetes, and his blood sugar ranges around 125-150. I can't think of anything else that might be related.
He's got an appt with his doctor tomorrow, but I thought maybe someone here might have some ideas.
