My LDL cholesterol is 31. I know we're taught that LDL is Evil, but I'm sure we do need some. Does anyone know about this? Is there anything I can do to raise it (besides eating saturated fat)?

thanks.

  • Exercise can significantly increase HDL cholesterol while lowering LDL cholesterol. Eat whole grains because it contains soluble fiber and niacin, both of which raise HDL and may lower LDL and also Go for good fats and plenty of plant foods.

  • it is important that you educate yourself on the subject in order to take an active part in lowering your cholesterol levels. Many physicians will prescribe both a change in diet and a medication. It is vital that the patient learn the types of cholesterol-lowering medications and how they work in the body.

  • Cholesterol is important and necessary for human health, high levels of cholesterol in the blood have been linked to damage to arteries and cardiovascular disease and low level is also bad for health. So for this you must have to go for proper treatment.

  • Every cell in your body contains cholesterol. You can’t live without it. As if your problem is little bit serious, please contact a correct physician to get a proper diet for your maintenance.

  • Every cell in your body contains cholesterol. You can’t live without it. Cholesterol also plays a role in brain function. It appears that insufficient brain cholesterol hinders the action of serotonin, a chemical that carries messages between brain cells and that is closely associated with mood.
