My son has been waking up in the middle of the night unable to breath. It's a very scary scene as he holds on to me for dear life with his eyes popping out of his head. We've been to the doctor a few times and gotten an xray. The xray came out ok and they gave us different versions of cough medicine and an inhaler. None of them worked. My son does not have a cough, cold, runny nose or anything like that though he has minor allergies. He is fine during the day and has been going to school. However at night, he chokes on phlegm that he cannot spit out. This can last for a scary while until he is able to clear his throat. I have not had a good night's sleep and have missed a lot of days at work since I don't know when I am gonna hear him gasping for air again. Please help!!! It's been 3 weeks!!!:(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
