My son has been vomitting every day, at least 5 times a day for months now.

Last night, he threw up hotdogs that he ate last thursday (9 days ago).

He has had an upper gi, and is scheduled for a cat scan on sunday and an abdominal ultrasound on monday.

He is getting progressively worse and I am worried that taking all of this time to run tests is not good. I feel that the tests should all be run on one day.

Does anyone have any idea at all about what this could possibly be? Maybe if I knew what to look for, I could ask for certain tests to be done.

  • i think the best way to get test done quicker is the next time he vomits, take him straight to your hospital er department, tell them whats been going on, they cant exacly turn you away can they. they mite very well run some tests there and then, sorry i cant offer anything better. best wishes.
