Not sure why my post yesterday didn't work. But here I am with this rash and horrible aching muscles and nobody has told me what it is yet. First doctor said folliculitis. Second one said maybe chicken pox or some kind of staph infection. She took some swabs for lab results, but since it was after hours, I have no idea when I'll get those back. The only other things I can think of... cat scratch disease or syphilis. Anyone know what this looks like? They're not too itchy or painful, just a pain in the butt. I kinda started ruling out folliculitis when they started appearing in my mouth (tongue and cheek) and palms of my hands. The real difficulty is the muscle soreness and aching. I can barely move if I don't take pain killers every 4-5 hours.

It can manifest itself the same way. As a matter of a fact, it can also be a result of chickenpox and other similar diseases. Just a thought, in case the swabs come back negative.
