Hey all,

I went to my doc's assistant yesterday to get a basic check out. She did a EKG and said everything looked normal however she said my blood pressure was high all 3 times she checked it within 2 hour time.

I had been having some odd chest pains at random during the day. But the one that just recently freaked me out... btw these main random chest pains alert me but do not hurt me.

I was asleep after the visit I did eat a meal of not so great stuff and slept about an hour or so after. After about 5 hours of sleep in a dream I had 2 big chest pains in my dead center chest under sternum bone.

They hurt enough to wake me up. They both triggered on a breath in. On waking up my chest wall muscle feels sore and like it got static shocked or something.

it feels all sore like it needs a heating pad.

I am uninsured so it is worth it for me to pay for a chest xray and blood work as well? I have no clue what is going on.

It first started with a few chest pains while running then led to a few pinching or staticy shock feeling at random while sitting on the computer or something. Then this last thing in my sleep.

Any advice?

Thanks all!

  • You need to get on blood pressure medications if your BP was high. Did the assistant mention this? Yur chest pain could be a lot of things. You probably need some more tests to figure it out.
