I have been having chest pain, almost every night worse when relaxing laying down. It is a tightness and dull pressure under sternum to upper stomach. Occassionally it occurs in morning afternoons.

It usually lasts about 1-3 hours then slowly goes away or lessens. 3 years ago I went to ER had a cardiologist do chest X-ray, blood work, EKG, and Heart cathater. Doc says see gastro. Symtoms returned 3 months ago same deal with ER except no heart cath, same reccommedation.

Last week I saw a gastrologist who did a scope into my espohagus, stomach, and small intestine, also did Ultra sound, and blood work. Said no problems with any, no gallstone, or prostate problems.

Have been on Protonix and GERD lifestyle eating change with no help.

I have smoked occassionally and have drank beer regulary, but niether in a few weeks.

Should I see another cardiologist or ? lung specialist?

thanks r kris
