I am a 23 year old male and have been having chest pains now for several years.
The pains began at night (on my right side of chest) and made it hard to get in a comfortable position. it was like stabing pains to move but these often went away after 10 mins.
About 18 months ago these got bad and I went to the doctor. the doc said it was a pulled mustle and gave me cream.
The pain occured occassionally
About 10 months ago I had the pain for about three weeks constant. I found it hard to drive as the pain would go down my arm. The pain also was beginning to occur on the left side as well. I went to the docs who said it was bourne holmes disease and that there was no treatment but it would go away in my 30's
The pain has been reoccuring since for maybe a week at a time. A few weeks ago i had it in the centre of my chest and went again to the docs who said it was an inflammed lung and to take pain killers and it would go away (no anti inflammatories due to asthma). I got my heart scaned and all is clear.
The pains are back and on both side and sometimes in the centre. I have been told so many different things and the last doc said that it wasn't bourne holmes.
Thanks for any help in advance
