Chest pain

I am now almost 40 and I've had chest pain everyday for about 30 years now. I cannot lie down on my left side for more than a few minutes otherwise I start having intense chest pain. If I then get up or turn on the other side, the pain subsides. Last year, my feet started swelling from time to time. I weigh 112 lbs and I am about 5 feet tall. I would like to know why I have these chest pains. I cannot exercise much as I get breathless soon after I start. The chest pains are now getting worse and sometimes occur even when I am not lying down. I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

  • This may or may not be serious, but in any case only a doctor can help you with them. In my opinion you need to see one as soon as possible to rule out serious conditions. Kiera
