  • Maybe have another cardiologist look at the test and findings as a second opinion just to be safe. Maybe there is another scan that can be done that hasn't been done; although you did already have an angiogram which is an invasive test and they found no blockages (you said the tests were good so lets assume no blockages were found). I do hope the doctors can find out why you are having such distressing symptoms. Take care, and work closely with the doctors.I have been having terrible pains in chest and left arm have had all tests including anjogram last week all tests on heart are good I am 55 years of age. • Microvascular angina, or Syndrome X, occurs when the patient experiences chest pain but has no apparent coronary artery blockage. This condition results from poor functioning of the tiny blood vessels that nourish the heart, arms and legs(8). Microvascular angina can occur during exercise or at rest. Reduced vasodilator capacity of the coronary microvessels is thought to be a cause of angina during exercise, but the mechanism of angina at rest is not known(12). Coronary microvascular spasm and resultant myocardial ischemia may be the cause of chest pain in a subgroup of patients with microvascular angina(12). Go find another cardiologist. Have you records sent before you go.
