I have been having neck pain with numbness and tingling in both arms since November 08. The doctor ordered an x-ray after taking ibuprofen for 4 weeks without any improvement in symptoms. The x-ray showed arthritic changes. I have been using a heating pad as he advised. There does not seem to be any change in symptoms. Is this the best treatment? Do you think something else could be causing the symptoms? Am I too young for arthritis in my neck? This is not very common, is it? I do not like to take medications and have stopped taking the ibuprofen as it did not seem to alter the symptoms. Thanks! The doctor checked my blood and said my lab values were normal for blood counts and electrolytes, blood sugar level, and cholesterol levels.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
