Cell phone symptoms

I get strange symptoms when I use a cell phone. While I talk on the phone, I feel a strange itchy/tingling/burning feeling on and around the ear that's listening. This feeling persists for a while even after I end the call. I also sometimes get brief headaches on the side of my head nearest the phone that go away a short while after using the phone. I don't get these symptoms when using a land line or at any other time.

Does anyone else experience this? What is causing it?

  • I read an article in the newspaper the other day about symptoms very much like this. What was happening is that some cellphones are made of nickel or contain nickel. People who used their cellphones would get these symptoms, and they would stop whenever they stopped using their cellphones. Just an idea, but you might want to get tested for an allergy to nickel.
