I have had irritable bowel sydrome for years. A week ago, after a particulary nasty bout of diarrhea (15 BMs per day), I developed severe abdominal pain with bloating. Long story short, I remain hospitalize since last Saturday. I have had tests that show celiac disease. What's puzzling is that my liver enzymes are elevated, and despite not having eaten in days, I still have frequent diarrhea. My medical history includes Gilbert Syndrome, and cholecystectomy about 22 years ago. Please help if you think you might know the reason for my liver enzymes to be elevated. Thank you.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
