  • Hi my 3 year old son has perisylvian syndrome; we found out he had it when he was 2 months old. When he was born there was no obvious problems he looked normal and acted normal all tests came back fine. His muscle tone was a little weak; that was it! Then at 2 months he started having seizures, so he had a MRI and thats how we found out. Now He's three and doing pretty good, he's been doing theapy 3 times a week since he was 3 months old. He can not walk (he crawls and climbs) and is attempting to talk he does have learning problems but he's still a normal kid he likes playing outside and reading books. please contact me if you want to ask anything else about it, I'm not a doctor, but I do live with a child that is fighting this disease.
