Okay so starting in January I started getting light headed almost feeling as if I was going to pass out and just Fuzzyheaded/dizzy. I thought it would go away, I also noticed I had a very fast heartbeat and tired and didnt like heat, I have been to a handful of docs and had Bloodwork and ekgs had my ears flushed. Eye exams and nothing came back besides high cholesteral which I have been working on. I have been prescribed Ciproflaxin,Anti anxiety meds, potassium pills, Beta Blocker, and Depression meds. I am only 22!!!!! The depressions meds arent helping I do have anxiety mainly from all this but the pills didnt take my symptoms away. I have been trying to maintain a normal life but honestly I feel like I am losing a grip on reality. I try and get out and be with friends and have a good time but then I dont feel good so I want to lay down, its so frustrating I do not know what to do!!!!:confused::confused: I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sounds like you're mostly being prescribed psych meds. If you are convinced your symptoms are not psych related, but in fact have a physical basis, then find new doctors and keep pushing. Don't take "it's in your head" for an answer if you *know* it's not. On the other hand, if you think it could be, then stick with the doctors and maybe try different meds if these aren't working. Remember, you know your body and you *must* be your own advocate. I'm sorry I can't give any other suggestion for what it might be. I hope you find the answers you need.

  • Your symptoms seem to be closely related to mine! I started out with those same symptoms about 5 and a half years ago when i was 12. (Along with my vision would go out. "blackouts"). The beginning of my junior year, my symptoms began to multiply and worsen. For the past year and a half I have seen specialist after specialist being told its all in my head or im a teenager i must be depressed.Last month I went to Dallas to see Dr.Nations. . . . I was finally diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia (a form of Dysautonomia) and Autonomic Neuropathy. Your symptoms seem like POTS or some for of dysautonomia.Very few doctors know about this.I have a website with all of my test/symptoms/doctors/etc. if you would like to take a look at it. www.katiemedical.com .Please e-mail me back if you can (kgenerr@yahoo.com) i would love to hear from you!I hope that this helped some. Don't give up hope!!Oh i also wanted to mention that I'm not sure about now, but when I was little I had high cholesteral. Which did not make sense because I was always very underweight for my age!
