I have problems with my left arm. I cannot raise it more than a few inches from my body when sitting or standing but in bed, I can. I can walk my fingers up the wall. I have mobility and strength in my hand and fingers.

This problem seems to be progressing. I cannot go to a drive through or wash my hair and have difficulty dressing.

I had MRI and nerve study. Dr just said muscle turned to fat but muscles are muscles, fat is fat. I understand muscle can deteriorate but can they be rejuvenated.

As an afterthought the doctor did say I have arthristis and some large bone chips but they weren't the problem as I really don't have much pain, he said he didn't reccommend surgery.

Any suggestions I am 56 yr old female disable with a blood desease and possible MS.

  • I was stressed out at work and it resulted in a frozen shoulder...When I went on to another job...it got better...I could not move my right arm above my head...I thought it would exist forever. I was told I had rotator cuff disease via an MRI.It has since improved 90% and now the other arm appears to be effected...I am sure it has something to do with stress...MS is a debilitating disease. It will effect our limbs, etc. Is there medicine that you can take to counteract this?
