I am a 29 year old active mother of 2 and overall pretty healthy.
For over 10 months now I have had pain in the upper right hand side of my chest that feels like a tear. I have acid reflux and sometimes have difficulty swallowing and shortness of breath so I was concerned that it was a Hiatal Hernia (this runs in my family). The doctors sent me for a barrium swallow and bone scan - both which turned up nothing. Over the past two weeks I have noticed pain and tenderness in my right breast. It is very painful to touch and no specific bumps but it is lumpier than my left breast.
I also noticed some small red rash like patches and bruising near my breast and underneath my arm (also on the right hand side).
I was checked by my Gynecologist and she seemed to think that the pain in my chest and pain in my breast are unrelated. She is sending me to the breast clinic for further evaluation. She also mentioned that I could have Fibercystic breast disease. I don't know what to think, can you help me?
